The proposed budget for 2019 includes subsidies for staple food items and electricity.
A total of 230 million Rufiyaa was allocated for food subsidies while 272 million Rufiyaa was allocated for fuel subsidies.
So in total 502 million was allocated for both food and fuel in the budget presented to the parliament by Finance Minister Munawwar.
