Jumhooree Party has condemned the crude oil attack against the Deputy Parliamentary group leader Abdulla Riyaz.
MP Riyaz was splashed while he was on his way to yesterday’s Majlis session, near his house which is located opposite to Juwey’s Café.
Gasim Ibrahim the Jumhooree Party leader condemned the attack during the Peoples’ Majlis session held today.
He said that he is concerned on how the state of the nation is changing and deteriorating. He added that it is very saddening.
Gasim said that security should be provided for the members of the Majlis and it is incumbent now with the many threats the members are facing.
He said that it is very worrying if this security is not provided and the rights of the members are violated.
