Jumhooree Party leader Gasim Ibrahim has expressed concern regarding the lack of security provided to the members of the Peoples’ Majlis.
Gasim Ibrahim said that the he has requested for security as soon as the Majlis secretariat announced that security will be provided to any member who submits a request for security.
Gasim Ibrahim said that he has not been informed that this announcement has been nullified but yet up until now no security has been granted.
Gasim said that providing security is a legal obligation and it is not from good manners to plead with the Speaker of the Peoples’ Majlis to provide security.
