Chief Justice, Ahmed Faiz has stated that everyone working in the judiciary should be free from corruption
Chief Justice made this remark speaking at the ceremony held by Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) to mark international anti-corruption day.
In his message, the Chief Justice noted that corruption is a threat to the republic and it destroys the rule of law and justice and fairness.
He said that standing against corruption and working against it is a responsibility of every individual in the society including the government, the public and also the judiciary.
Chief Justice Faiz said that everyone should ensure that they do nothing that leads to corruption and that they uphold justice and fairness.
Moreover, the Chief Justice underscored the importance of working to make the judiciary free from corruption. He said that justice should be served to everyone who knocks the door of the judiciary seeking justice.
