More than 200 employees and 12 Lorries of the State Trading Organization (STO) have volunteered in the distribution of water to the people living in Male’ during the current water crisis.
STO Managing Director Adam Azim has said that the volunteers have been working in the distribution points in the TJetty area.
Adam Azim said that Fuel Supply and Maldive Gas are also involved in the distribution of water.
“We have STO volunteers and also some volunteers from the public working with us in the distribution of water,” he said.
Adam Azim said that the employees of STO will always be at the forefront in attending all emergencies faced by the Maldivian nation.
