Commissioner of Police, Hussein Waheed has said that the distribution points will be increased if the people continue extending cooperation.
Speaking to Miadhu Daily, Commissioner of Police highlighted that the Police and the MNDF and some other private organizations have been working tirelessly to provide water to the people. He said that he is very happy that the public have been accepting this service.
“The public have been cooperating with us very well. They have been waiting patiently in the queue lines. I would like to remind the public to remain steadfast upon that,” he said.
Hussein Waheed said that the people should be happy and proud for the efforts of the Police and the MNDF and specially the task force established by the President.
The Commissioner expressed his gratitude to them on behalf of the people of Maldives.
Hussein Waheed said that those who advocate for human rights should think of the “human rights” of the “humans” who are working tirelessly 24 hours to distribute water for the sake of the people. “They are also humans. They also have set employment hours,” he said.
